FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Produce Now, our farms, and our food.

🥬 ABOUT OUR PRODUCE

Q: What makes your produce different from grocery store vegetables?
A: Our produce is grown in sealed indoor farms using vertical hydroponics—no pesticides, no herbicides, no soil. It’s harvested to order, which means it's fresher, cleaner, and more nutrient-rich than produce that’s traveled thousands of miles and sat in storage.

Q: Is your produce organic?
A: We go beyond organic. Because our crops are grown in sterile, climate-controlled environments, there's zero exposure to pests or pathogens—and no need for chemical sprays, even the ones allowed in organic farming.

Q: What types of produce do you grow?
A: We currently grow leafy greens (romaine, spring mix, arugula), herbs (basil, cilantro), and select crops like tomatoes, peppers, and microgreens. We’re always testing new varieties based on season and demand.

🚚 ORDERS & DELIVERY

Q: Where do you deliver?
A: We deliver locally in Tulsa and nearby areas—typically within hours of harvest. For customers outside our region, we offer overnight shipping to preserve freshness and nutritional quality.

Q: Can I subscribe for weekly or bi-weekly deliveries?
A: Yes! Our flexible subscription options include weekly or bi-weekly plans for individuals, families, or offices. You choose your mix, we handle the rest.

Q: Do you supply businesses or wholesale accounts?
A: Absolutely. We supply restaurants, gas stations, stadiums, schools, and meal-prep brands. Bulk and wholesale pricing available—reach out for details.

🌿 GROWING METHODS

Q: What is vertical farming?
A: Vertical farming is the practice of growing food in stacked layers within a controlled indoor space. Using LED lighting, hydroponic systems, and clean water, we grow more food in less space—all without soil or pesticides.

Q: Do you use GMOs or chemicals?
A: Never. Our seeds are non-GMO, and we never use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Our entire process is built for purity, precision, and performance.

Q: How sustainable is your system?
A: Our Grow Pods use up to 95% less water, create zero runoff, and produce 10x the yield per square foot compared to outdoor farms. Plus, by growing near the point of consumption, we dramatically reduce food miles.

🚜 OWNING A POD / PARTNERSHIPS

Q: Can I own my own Grow Pod?
A: Yes. We offer modular, high-performance Grow Pods ideal for entrepreneurs, nonprofits, schools, or businesses looking to grow clean produce at scale.

Q: How much does a Grow Pod cost?
A: Our pods range from $100,000 to $140,000, depending on unit size, crop configuration, automation features, and delivery location.

Q: What is the ROI on a Grow Pod?
A: Depending on your market and volume, most pod owners see ROI in 12 to 18 months. With multiple revenue streams (subscriptions, wholesale, CSA, etc.), it’s a strong long-term investment.

Q: Can I become a distributor or brand partner?
A: Yes—we’re actively looking for partners to distribute to stadiums, gas stations, grocery chains, and more. We offer support for licensing, co-branding, and regional expansion.
